New Mexico State men’s basketball coach Marvin Menzies is using Twitter to break news about one of his players being cleared to practice.  Menzies wrote on Twitter, “Bandja Sy cleared to practice.. Just waiting on (forward) BJ (West) now. Hope to hear back in the next few days." Sy is a 6-foot-8 freshman from Cergy, France. He played previously at Stoneridge Prep.

Former Lobo Danny Granger scored 31 points in a losing effort against Atlanta Wednesday night.

New Mexico native and former Aggie Mike Everitt was the third base umpire in game one of the World Series.
