KOB Eyewitness News 4 Holiday Food Drive
Helping New Mexico's Hungry
As the largest hunger relief organization in the state, Roadrunner Food Bank gears up during the holiday season to ensure we have adequate food supplies throughout the winter months to provide for the hungry and less fortunate. Between now and the end of the year, Roadrunner Food Bank needs fund and food donations for this year's annual Holiday Food Drive.

The community is invited to participate in the following Holiday Food Drive activities:
Nov. 1 - Nov. 30 -- Drop off a non-perishable donation at any New Mexico Smith's Food & Drug Store
Nov. 15 - Nov. 30 -- Drop off a non-perishable donation at any Albuquerque area Papa John’s location.
Thursday, Nov. 18 -- Albuquerque Journal brown bag insert - fill a bag of food for the hungry
Saturday, Nov. 20 -- Letter Carriers' Food Drive-put your cans & dry goods by your mailbox.
Wednesday, Nov. 17 -- KOB Eyewitness News 4 Hunger Hotline
If you or someone you know needs help providing food for their family, call the KOB Eyewitness News 4 Hunger Hotline between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17. The hotline phone numbers are (505) 222-3232 in the Albuquerque metro area or toll-free statewide 1-877-424-3232.
Volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about who qualifies for food stamps or other public assistance programs, how and where to apply for these programs, and resources where people in need can receive emergency food.
Saturday, Nov. 20 -- Bring a non-perishable food donation to Albuquerque Uptown between 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. The Eyewitness News 4 Food Drive will broadcast live from 4 p.m. - 5 p.m. Frozen turkeys will be accepted at this location.
Sunday, Nov. 21 -- Sortin' Sunday - Volunteer to help sort food at the Food Bank by calling (505) 349-8825.
December 1-27 -- Drop a non-perishable donation at any metro area Starbucks cafe.
