Two homeless men have pleaded guilty in connection with the murder of another homeless man in Santa Fe.

41-year-old Scott Claybaugh pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, and 40-year-old Richard Eastman pleaded guilty to conspiracy and battery.

Authorities say the men beat and stabbed Chris Rose in early September.

Rose's body was found in the river next to DeVargas Park near downtown Santa Fe.

Claybaugh faces 26 years in prison— he will be sentenced next week.

Eastman faces nine years behind bars.
