Former UNM receivers coach J.B. Gerald is scheduled to appear on ESPN’s Outside the Lines Friday afternoon (1pm). Gerald describes his physical altercation with UNM head coach Mike Locksley as a “choke” instead of a punch. “He literally jumps in my lap and tries to choke me,” says Gerald.
The UNM volleyball team beat Air Force in three games (25-9, 25-23, 25-20). Anna Lehne recorded four blocks to move into 2nd place on the school’s all-time blocks list.
UNM sophomore Will Brown returned to practice with the men’s basketball team after serving a suspension for academic reasons.
