Both northbound and southbound Coors Blvd. were both closed briefly this morning so a helicopter could land and evacuate a woman hit by a car.
According to Lieutenant Matt Painter of APD, the 60-year-old woman was crossing Coors in the crosswalk at Dellyne when she was hit.
The woman was taken to University of New Mexico Hospital and is reported to be in critical condition.
The northbound lanes of Coors were opened shortly after 8:30. The southbound lanes remained closed until 9:00 while police investigated the scene.
