NM Attorney General undergoes neck surgery

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - New Mexico Attorney General Gary King is recovering from neck surgery Wednesday at an undisclosed Albuquerque hospital.
A news release said doctors replaced discs and fused vertebrae in King's neck to alleviate long-standing pain and immobility.
King is listed in stable condition at an undisclosed Albuquerque hospital.
The Attorney General's office is asking for privacy for King and his family so that he may concentrate on his recovery.
