The FBI has made an arrest in the slaying of a Catholic nun in her home in Navajo, New Mexico over the weekend.

FBI special agent Darrin Jones announced in a morning email that one person was arrested early this morning in the community of Navajo in connection with the death of Sister Marguerite Bartz.  He added that “no further details will be released at this time.”

Bartz, 64, died of blunt force trauma following a violent confrontation, according to the Office of the Medical Examiner.

Officials believe that Bartz was killed sometime between Halloween evening and Sunday morning. Her body was discovered Sunday morning by an acquaintance who went to see why she had missed Mass.
