FARMINGTON, N.M. (AP) - Someone stole a Salvation Army truck from the charity's Farmington office and decided to take it off-roading.

Farmington police said the truck, which is used to deliver donations and food to the needy, was stolen Tuesday evening and found Wednesday morning.

When it was found, the truck showed severe signs of wear and tear including a tree limb through the transmission.

This isn't the first time the Salvation Army has been hit by thieves. In August, someone broke into the Farmington office and stole about $1,300 in thrift store proceeds.
