Two men sporting Bandidos colors at the weekend gathering

A party in Valencia County by alleged members of the Bandidos motorcycle gang put five law enforcement agencies on alert over the weekend.

The Saturday night gathering in Jarales reportedly involved some 500 Bandidos from throughout New Mexico and Texas.

Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and Bernalillo County assisted local law enforcement in monitoring the party.

The law enforcement presence was on hand hand because of the Bandidos’ reputation for violence.

Valencia County deputies say the only complaint they received during the gathering was about a traffic accident in front of the home where the gathering was being held.
