Assistance dogs' use for kids in courtrooms urged

Courtrooms can be scary places for children, which is why district attorneys from across New Mexico heard from groups looking to ease kids' fears with dogs.

Representatives from Courthouse Dogs and Assistance Dogs of the West say bringing trained assistance dogs into the courtroom can go a long way to helping children testify in trials or provide information during interviews.
