BERNALILLO, N.M. (AP) - The Coronado State Monument is among four historical places in New Mexico that a state preservation group considers endangered.

The New Mexico Heritage Preservation Alliance planned Saturday to accept the nominations for endangered places.

They include the monument in Bernalillo, the Luna-Otero mansion in Los Lunas, the Cambray Overpass in Luna County and the De la O Saloon and Village in Dona Ana.

The alliance advocates protecting the state's heritage, especially at places it considers endangered.

More than 60 places have been recognized as endangered since the program started in 1999.

The program has managed to make positive changes at 45 percent of the previously designated places.
