Bicyclist killed while fundraising across state

A young man riding his bike across the country to raise money for cancer research has died after being hit by a car in New Mexico.
John Anczarski of Pennsylvania was hit by a car Monday in Laguna, about 50 miles west of Albuquerque. He died Tuesday at UNM Hospital.
Anczarski was part of a group called The Pink Pedal whose motto is “Riding Hard to Fight Breast Cancer."
The group left Pennsylvania last Thursday and was headed to San Diego.
Anczarski,19, was a student at the University of Colorado.
