The Whitewater-Baldy Complex fire in the Gila Wilderness has now burned 255,024 acres and is 18 percent contained.

On Monday, residents and business owners will be allowed to return to the small privately run ghost town of Mogollon near the fire.

The town was evacuated on May 26 as extreme wind fueled the Whitewater-Baldy Complex fire.

The Whitewater-Baldy Complex fire is the largest wildfire in New Mexico's recorded history.
