Evacuations, shelters and closures for Little Bear fire

From the U.S. Forest Service, here is a list of evacuations, shelters and closures in place for the Little Bear fire near Ruidoso.

Evacuations:
There have been no new evacuation orders issued.
The following communities are still closed: Enchanted Forest Villa Madonna Nogal Canyon Bonito Lake Campgrounds Angus Sierra Vista Sonterra (1, 2, 3) Copper Canyon Loma Grande
The following communities are open to residents: Rancho Ruidoso High Mesa Deer Park Alto
Road Closures:
The following road closures are still in effect:
NM 532 (Ski Run Road) at Mile Marker 3 (east/west) NM 48: Open from Ruidoso to NM 220 (Airport Road) HWY 37: Road block is now at Mile Marker 6 (coming towards Capitan/Ruidoso from Carrizozo)
NM 220 has been re-opened to Sierra Blanca Regional Airport.
Shelter Information:
The Red Cross has set-up a shelter for evacuated residents at the Ruidoso High School gym.There is also a shelter in Capitan at the Trinity Baptist Church.
Livestock can be taken to the Lincoln County Fairgrounds. Pet Paradise in La Luz also says it has room for animals.
