The Lobos lose a whole bunch of rebounding power with the loss of Drew Gordon and A.J. Hardeman. So the Lobos are looking for a big power forward to go with the likes of Alex Kirk, Cameron Bairstow and Freshman Nick Banyard. I have always believed the best way to win basketball games is to dominate the back boards and Alford has said the Lobos need to stay in top two in the conference if they plan on defending their MWC title. We also learned that Lobo recruit Troy Spears has has pulled his commitment and is being recruited by Butler.
