ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Albuquerque's zoo has once again earned the bragging rights as New Mexico's most visited destination.

Officials say that during the fiscal year that just ended, ABQ BioPark broke its own attendance record for a third year in a row with more than 1.2 million visitors.

The Tourism Association of New Mexico says that's more guests than any other attraction in the state, including White Sands National Monument and Carlsbad Caverns National Park.

Zoo director Rick Janser credits the zoo's scenery and exhibits, as well programs like its Summer Nights and Zoo Music concert series.
