The FBI has released a photo of the man it believes robbed the Bank of the West on 5401 Gibson SE on Tuesday morning.

The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department say they are investigating whether this suspect could be connected to the armed robbery Monday of New Mexico Educators Federal Credit Union, 6501 Indian School Road NE.

The suspect in that robbery also wore a blue cap with the same logo.

FBI spokesman Frank Fisher tells KOB that, so far this year, there have been 14 bank robberies in New Mexico.

Ten of those were in Albuquerque, and four were in Santa Fe.
