The suspect who police believe killed a 7-11 clerk early Tuesday is still on the run.

Police say they are looking for Eloy Aguilar, 22, who they say was the triggerman in the robbery and killing.

They have also arrested Julian DeHerrera, 20, and Dylan Villarreal, 22 , in connection with the crimes.

According to a criminal complaint, the two were outside the 7-11 at Central and University when Aguilar shot and killed the clerk inside.

That clerk has been identified as Chad Mercer.

Aguilar was last seen wearing a black muscle shirt, tan cargo shorts and a black belt.

Police say Aguilar and two other men - believed to be Villarreal and DeHererra- went to the 7-11 on Central and University at about 1 a.m. Tuesday, allegedly with the intention to rob the store.

Police say when Aguilar went inside, the two other men robbed a group of people outside at gunpoint.

The two men reportedly drove off when they heard a gunshot inside the 7-11, leaving Aguilar at the store.

Villarreal and DeHererra are now in jail, charged with murder and armed robbery.

Police say DeHererra confessed to robbing the people in the parking lot.

He also told police that Aguilar, his cousin, later called him and said he'd shot and killed the store clerk.

Police also tell us that an iPhone stolen from the people in the parking lot had a Global Positioning System that led police right to the suspects.
