If you're looking for something hot to eat, what better place than a restaurant called Calientes?
One of the restaurant's signature items is the steak stuffed chile relleno.
Tenderloin beef is cut up and grilled, then stuffed into a fresh roasted green chile, battered, and of course deep fried.
For sides, Calientes' calabacitas and papitas are cooked to order.
You can't forget about the homemade tamales. You can choose from red chile pork or green chile chicken tamales.
"The biggest compliments we've gotten are that it's just like it's made at home or my grandma's house. Or I've had grandmas come in and say that their food is as good as theirs, if not better," says co-owner, Leo Bryant.
Calientes is located on Juan Tabo north of Indian School.
