ESPN likes UNLV, SDSU and Colorado State and some have picked the Lobos as low as 4th place in the conference. I'm here to pick them apart. Dave Rice ran the Rebels into the ground last season and they lose their point guard. SDSU is nice, well coached, but undersized and will play with one in and 4-out. CSU has a new coach and a new system. This was a team that won one game on the road in conference last season and that was at Air Force. The Lobos have the best back court in conference and it's not close. If New Mexico can get solid play from their bigs and Nick Banyard, they will be right in the middle of this race to the Mountain west Conference Tournament.
