It appears New Mexico State's football playing days in the WAC will end after this season.

Every current WAC football team except the Aggies and Idaho will be moving to a new conference next season.

Interim WAC commissioner Jeff Hurd said on said Thursday FBS football is not feasible in the WAC for 2013.

That means the Aggies will have to either go independent, move to another conference or play in a lower division. The school has not announced its play yet.
