Former La Cueva standout and UNM track star Jarrin Solomon says the Opening Ceremonies of the 2012 Olympics in London was an "awesome experience".  Solomon told us, "We just watched some on tv then we started the walk to the stadium! Entering the stadium was on another level. With all those people screaming it made me want to put my spikes on and race right then!"

Solomon will compete in the 4x400 relay team for Trinidad and Tobago.  His father was a former Olympic sprinter for Trinidad.

Jarrin told us he might soak in some of the other Olympic events like basketball and beach volleyball.
