Here are some quotes from UNM football coach Bob Davie after day 1 of training camp in Ruidoso.
On the facilities in Ruidoso: "I've been to a lot of college camps and most of NFL camps and this rivals any camp I've seen."
On having more bodies at practice: "We're starting, because we have some more numbers now, to practice the way we want to practice. In the spring we couldn't practice this long. We couldn't get this many reps because we didn't have enough guys."
On the schedule: "At 4:30pm the offense meets and the defense lifts. At 5:30pm the defense meets and the offense lifts. We have dinner at 7pm. We have meetings from 7:30pm to 9 tonight."
