Dinosaurs at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and science are what the children roar, according to Mike Sanchez from the museum.

He said there is no denying dinosaurs draw in big crowds.

"A lot of people definitely come here to see dinosaurs," he said. "There's a lot to be seen in here. You put dinosaurs on the table and guess what? Dinosaurs are a magnet absolutely."

5th grader Andrew Gaudette of Los Lunas said he's fascinated by the pre-historic creatures too.

"It just seems so cool how they have different sizes, different shapes and different abilities to do like lots of things," he said.

A new display called dinosaur century: "100 years of discovery in New Mexico" - has a newly displayed fossilized foot of an Alamosaurus. The bones were found back in the 1920's in the San Juan basin near Farmington.

Matt Celeskey of the museum said the Alamosaurus is a seldom found member of the Brontosaurus family.

"It's kind of a mysterious dinosaur they've never found a complete specimen- no skeleton, no skull," he said. "But for almost a 100 years they've been finding bits and pieces of this animal up near Farmington. So the foot is actually one of the most sort of complete articulated pieces found in New Mexico."
