Eyewitness Sports 4 has learned New Mexico Activities Association executive director Gary Tripp is stepping down.  This is the second time Tripp has resigned from the position.  Back in the summer of 2011, Tripp announced he was retiring.  Less than two months later Tripp changed his mind and assumed his job as director.

On Tuesday, the NMAA will have a meeting to appoint an interim replacement.

Tripp was hired by the NMAA in the spring of 2004.
