Motorcyclist killed on Sandia Crest

A motorcyclist was killed on Sandia Crest Road Saturday.
The man was rounding a curve and lost control of the motorcycle.
Deputies said the motorcyclist was wearing full protective gear including a full face helmet, but he died at the scene.
Authorities have not released his name.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
The crest road was closed following the accident because of an investigation, but was later reopened
