Former UNM golfer Charlie Beljan cancelled his Twitter account after criticizing the President of the United States.  Over the weekend, Beljan expressed his opinion of Mitt Romney's choice of Paul Ryan as his running mate/Vice Presidential candidate with the following Tweet:

"Praying that Paul and Romney can beat the biggest D Bag this country has ever seen"

Beljan also had a conversation on Twitter with a fan and Beljan went on to associate the President of the United States with the administration at Penn State who covered up the child molestation charges.

Beljan wrote "Guess Obama and PSU go hand in hand."

Beljan deleted his Twitter account on Monday.  The PGA Tour did not issue a comment.
