"Do you have a confident team?" head coach Bob Davie was asked on Tuesday. "No," responded Davie.
The 1st year Lobo coach went on to explain, "Let's be honest...look what our record has been, look how many players have left the program, look at those statistics in depth from last year...I'm just being as honest as I can be. I think we have a team that feels pretty good about themselves right now...Based on the circumstances I think we have as confident a team as we could have."
The Lobos open the season at home Saturday against Southern.
