Attorney arrested in law firm shooting

An Albuquerque criminal defense lawyer is facing charges for shooting a man at his law office Tuesday morning.
According to a criminal complaint, the victim, identified as Stephen Biddinger, got into an argument with attorney David "Chip" Venie at Venie's law office on Lomas and 8th.
Police said Biddinger refused to leave the premises, which prompted Venie to grab a gun and shoot Biddinger in the leg.
Venie is now charged with aggravated battery.
Police also said Venie's wife recorded the shooting on her cell phone. Officials said the video shows Biddinger with his hands up, clearly free of any weapons.
Authorities are not saying if Biddinger was a client, or what may have prompted the argument.
He is expected to recover from his injuries.
