ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - The Bernalillo County Republic Party has launched a Spanish-language radio ad blasting the state's Democrat delegation over a state representative calling Gov. Susana Martinez a "Mexican."

The advertisement, which began airing Wednesday, attacks New Mexico's Democrat delegation to the Democratic National Convention for not denouncing DNC Committeewoman Sheryl Williams Stapleton.

She's the Albuquerque representative who drew fire in December for referring to Martinez as a "Mexican" during a heated exchange with a GOP lawmaker in the capitol.

Last week, a Democratic delegate called on a member from the Republican National Committee to resign over a joke about Native Americans.

The ad points out to what the Bernalillo County Republic Party calls the "hypocrisy" of the Democratic delegation.
