UNM quarterback BR Holbrook did workout with the team on Monday, despite getting knocked out of Saturday's game at Texas.  Holbrook left the game in the second quarter afer getting hit in the back following a long run.

UNM head coach Bob Davie says x-rays on Holbrook's ribs were negative and a CT scan on his kidneys was also negative. Davie said Holbrook is doubtful for this Saturday's game at Texas Tech.  Holbrook will be re-evaluated later in the week.

Wide receiver Lamaar Thomas will miss this week's game against the Red Raiders.  Thomas suffered a 'stinger' in Saturday's loss at Texas and felt numbness in his fingers.
