University of New Mexico football coach Bob Davie took a moment during Tuesday's press conference to reflect on the tragic events of 9/11.

"I think today, the anniversary of 9/11, all of us probably remember exactly where we were, exactly what we were going to do, exactly what we were doing, when that tragedy hit. I was actually sitting in a meeting room with the defensive coaches. We were getting ready to play Joe Tiller at Purdue, and the trainer knocked on the door, which they never knock on the door to interrupt those kind of meetings. He said, “Coach, you need to come out here and look at this.” We walked out and on the television it showed the tower. So it’s amazing when you think about that. But I’m sure all of us can think exactly where we were and exactly what we were doing when that announcement first came."
