There’s a lot that goes into securing an aerial adventure.
When it’s all done, Rock it Up Zip Line is ready for New Mexico State Fair-goers young and old.
"We start you out 28 foot wire tower we bring you straight down toward the targets. Will you hit or won't you? " said Jeff Diesing, operations manager with Rock it Up Zip Line.
Diesing and his cable contraption are at the New Mexico State Fair for the first time.
“The Rock it up Zip Line is 100-ft of speed fun," he said.
Kids get to strap in for a ride for $7, two rides for $10.
The zip line will run as long as there’s no lightning.
"We have double cables connection points at both ends,” said Diesing. “The patrons are strapped in two different ways. Our tethers, our breakaways so if one snaps we've got another one right there."
The zip line is open daily at 10 a.m. through September 23 at the State Fair.
