2 dead in crash near Crownpoint

Two people died Wednesday night in a head-on collision on NM 371 near Crownpoint.
Police there say the drivers have not been identified and alcohol has not been ruled out.
They tell KOB that one vehicle was a government truck with Bureau of Indian Affairs markings and it appears the driver was a BIA employee.
The other vehicle had an NM plate.
The case is being referred to the Crownpoint police and the FBI for criminal investigation.
