Lobos fall to Texas Tech, 49-14

The UNM football team dropped another game to a school from the Lone Star state, losing at Texas Tech 49-14 on Saturday.

Texas Tech quarterback Seth Doege threw for 340 yards with six touchdowns.  Five of his touchdowns came in the first half as the Red Raiders went into halftime with a 42-14 lead.

UNM's first touchdown was a DeMarcus Rogers two yard run to cut the Red Raider lead to 14-7.  UNM's only other score was a 98-yard kick return by Chase Clayton.

UNM drops to 1-2 overall.  The Lobos are at New Mexico State next weekend.
