Toddler needs marrow transplant by December

Jeremy Kong was just like any other two year old boy until June, when doctors told Anthony and Alice Kong that their son suffers from a rare form of leukemia and needs a bone marrow match by December.
"I just love him and adore him. Yeah it's just hard to kind of see him and not know what's going to happen to him so," said Alice Kong, Jeremy's mother.
Ruby Law with the Asian American Donor program is fighting for the Kong family. She just lost a friend to leukemia.
Janet Lian got nearly 400,00- views on YouTube after posting a plea for a donor online. She got a transplant after waiting three years. Law says that was too long.
"It normally takes 45 days for cells to engraft after transplant. Because she already received about 15 rounds of chemotherapy her body is really weak," said Law. Getting people to sign up for the registry has been difficult and the Kong's blame East Asian superstition.
"They don't want to talk about the medical needs or what could happen, possibly happen- its don't say it or you'll jinx it or something," said Anthony Kong.
The two young parents are still fighting for their son's future.
