If you live in the Four Corners and you missed out on “Talk Like A Pirate Day” on Wednesday, you still have a chance to learn some key phrases.

Juris Odins is learning how to speak pirate at the Farmington Public Library.

"The ship be flounderin'," Odins said to the computer screen.

The library is promoting their new language learning program called Mango Languages by teaching everyone to speak pirate, said coordinator Jenny Lee Ryan.

“I think it's a fun way to see that it is easy to learn a new language," she said.

People can log in anywhere there's an internet connection to take lessons. There is also an app that you can download straight to your smartphone.

The program has dozens of other languages you can choose to learn. Ryan hopes Mango adds another to its growing list soon, saying: “My only complaint about Mango Languages is there's no Klingon."

If you want to find out more about the program you can visit the Farmington Public Library website at www.infoway.org or call them at 505-599-1270.
