Company announces voluntarily limited recall of almond, peanut butter

Sunland Inc. has announced a voluntarily limited recall of its almond butter and peanut butter products, manufactured between May 1 and September 24 of this year.

Sunland, Inc. officials said the products may be contaminated with Salmonella. They said between June 11 and September 2, 29 people reported the illness in 18 states, not including New Mexico.

Healthy individuals infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea, nausea , vomiting and abdominal pain.
