Silver City woman found dead, boyfriend arrested

SILVER CITY, N.M. (AP) - Police in Silver City say a 21-year-old woman has been found dead and her boyfriend has been arrested on a murder charge.
Nicole Leon was found dead in the home she shared with 23-year-old Christopher Calloway early Saturday morning.
Calloway was later arrested on murder, evidence tampering, firearms and child abuse charges.
Police tell the Las Cruces Sun-News that they're not sure of a motive but Leon and Calloway apparently argued before the shooting.
There was a two-month-old baby inside the home when the shooting happened.
Police say they found Leon dead during a welfare check at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
