ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce is scheduled to host a summit on the impact of the federal Affordable Care Act on New Mexico small businesses.

The group is slated Tuesday to host the free event with Small Business Majority and Health Action NM.

Tim Gaudette, western outreach manager for Small Business Majority, will discuss the state's work setting up a health insurance exchange, wellness grants and cost containment.

Guadette said they are some provisions in the federal law that small business owners need to understand. Speakers will provide information on what small business owners should expect.
