He's only listed at 5'9" and 180 pounds, but Kasey Carrier can pack a punch at the line of scrimmage.  Carrier rushed for 191 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-14 win over Texas State.  "It's pretty impressive when you can rush for 200 yards on mostly dives in the first half," said head coach Bob Davie.

Carrier is the first Lobo running back since Rodney Ferguson in 2008 to rush for four touchdowns.  He's the 8th UNM player to score at least four times in a game.

"Our guys up front came in with the mentality to blow open holes for the running backs, and they came out and definitely did that," said Carrier.

For the first time since 1972, the Lobos rushed for over 300 yards in three straight games.

The Lobos are now 3-3 on the season and travel to Hawaii next week.
