New Mexico high school bands compete in Albuquerque

High school marching bands from all over the state duked it out in Albuquerque on Saturday for the 33rd Annual Pageant of Bands.

Twenty-three high school bands competed against each other for the top title.

Overall, Rio Rancho High School was first in "music ensemble" and "music effect" and Sandia High School was first in "visual effect" and 'percussion."

La Cueva was first in "ensemble visual."
