Within the last half-hour, APD officers responded to a call at the Albuquerque Academy School regarding a bomb threat.

Officers arrived and informed the school's communications center had received a telephoned threat from an unknown individual stating that a bomb was on the campus and was set to detonate in two hours.

The caller did not specify the exact location of the alleged bomb.

Due to the early morning hour, few students and staff were present on campus.

Those that were present were evacuated and all entrances to the the campus were closed by police.

As the investigation continues, Albuquerque Academy has been placed on a two-hour delay.

Police are asking that you do not attempt to gain access to the campus.
