Probation for man who stole from tribal casino

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A former slot machine supervisor at Pojoaque Pueblo's Cities of Gold Casino has been sentenced to five years' probation for faking wins on the machines and pocketing the money.
A federal judge also ordered 25-year-old Calvin R. Trujillo to pay nearly $26,000 in restitution to the casino.
The Albuquerque Journal reports Trujillo admitted in a plea agreement that he came up with a way to steal money by fabricating wins on slot machines.
He'd then cash the winning ticket at the cashier's window. He entered a guilty plea to theft in May. U.S. Attorney Kenneth J. Gonzales said after Thursday's sentencing that Trujillo has already served nine months in tribal custody on larceny charges for the same theft.
