Santa Fe man gets 7½ years in child porn case

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A former church organist in Santa Fe has been sentenced to 7½ years in federal prison for possessing child pornography.
Patrick Railsback has been in federal custody since a jury convicted him of seven child porn counts in September 2011.
The 62-year-old was sentenced Thursday and will have to serve 10 years of supervised release once his prison term is completed.
The Albuquerque Journal reports Railsback was arrested after investigators tipped off by an internet service provider raided his home.
Railsback was the organist for the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi but was put on leave by the Santa Fe Archdiocese after the January 2008 search of his home. He was later fired.
