Rain dampens Balloon Fiesta Friday morning; evening events still scheduled

The balloons didn't go up Friday morning for the Special Shapes Rodeo - and there's no telling whether a Special Shapes Glowdeo will go on Friday night, either.
Rain and lightning caused Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta officials to cancel all events Friday morning.
The rain dumped several inches of water on the park, causing fiesta officials to try to vaccuum it up.
Anyone who had tickets to Friday morning's cancelled events will be able to use them again at another event.
Friday night's forecast calls for wet, windy weather. It'll be drier and cooler Saturday, but still breezy. It could still be problematic for the balloons - but there's a better chance of balloons Saturday than Friday.
Sunday will be quite nice.
Stay with KOB to see whether the balloons and fireworks will go up Friday night.
