Saturday mass ascension launched at Balloon Fiesta Park

Today is the start of the final weekend of the 2012 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

More than 500 hot-air balloons are scheduled to launch for mass ascensions on Saturday and Sunday. 

Saturday's go-ahead for mass ascension calmed some worries that the weather would not cooperate.
