One killed in late Monday car crash in NE Albuquerque

A person was killed late Monday when a car smashed into a Target store in Northeast Albuquerque.

The single-car accident happened around 11 p.m. Monday, near the intersection of Lomas and Morris NE near Hotel Circle.

Police say the vehicle was speeding when it crashed into the Target store near there.

We are told that two people were inside the vehicle - one died at the scene.

The other was taken to the hospital.

Their names have not been released.
