Three wildfires are prompting evacuations and pre-evacuations in Southern Colorado and the Four Corners area Thursday.

Sources tell KOB that 20 to 30 homes have been evacuated or are on pre-evacuation status near Vallecito for the Vallecito fire, which has burned 200 to 250 acres.

Authorities tell KOB that the Vallecito fire was likely started by lightning.

The Mancos Fire has burned 100 acres on the burn scar of the Weber fire from several months ago.

About 30 to 40 homes are on pre-evacuation status there.

The Mancos fire started on public land and later moved to land managed by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.

There is also a small half-acre fire burning in La Plata County - we are working to learn the exact location.

Stay with KOB for information on these developing stories.
