The U.S. Forest Service reported Monday that the Chimney fire is now 100 percent contained but is not controlled.

Officials told KOB Eyewitness News that there is a fire line around the fire and crew are letting the fire burn itself out inside the containment line.

As KOB had previously reported, the La Luz and Piedra Vista trails are back open and as of Monday evening the parking lots have been reopened.
